About Me

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 only runs on this site once you press "Accept Analytics" on the banner that greets first-time visitors. Declining changes nothing about how the site works for you - Analytics simply never loads.

Once you opt in, Analytics can see things like the pages you view, a rough location, your device and browser type, where you came from, and which outbound links you click (Steam, itch.io, Patreon, Discord, and so on). I rely on this purely to gauge traffic and fine-tune the site and my promotion efforts. Ad storage and ad personalization are both switched off.

Cookies and Browser Storage

Your 18+ confirmation is remembered only for as long as your browser session lasts, while your analytics decision is stored long-term on your device - it stays until you clear it yourself or use the option below to reset it. Accepting analytics lets Google Analytics place first-party cookies like _ga and _ga_*.

Contact Form and Your Data

Filling out the contact form means giving me your first name, last name, email address, and whatever message you type. That information travels straight from your browser into a private Discord channel I use to manage messages, where it's kept so I can read it and get back to you.

I only use it to answer whatever you've reached out about - commissions, support, feedback, you name it - and I don't hold onto it any longer than needed to sort that out and any follow-up. Sending the form counts as your consent to this. Want it deleted sooner? Just email me at purple.omega.games.help@gmail.com or ping me on Discord and I'll take care of it.

Third-Party Services

Steam, itch.io, Patreon, Discord, YouTube and SubscribeStar are all separate services with their own rules - following those links takes you outside this policy. Google handles Analytics under its own Privacy Policy, and anything you send through my contact form lives on Discord's servers, governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.

Adult Content and Children's Privacy

This is an 18+ website. I don't knowingly gather personal details from anyone under that age, and nothing here - the contact form or the analytics setup - is built with minors in mind.

Changes to This Policy

This policy isn't set in stone - I'll update it whenever something changes. The date at the top always marks the most recent version, so it's worth a glance now and then.

Your Choice and Rights

If GDPR applies to you, analytics only happens with your consent, and you're free to take that back whenever you like. You may also be entitled to access, correct, delete or limit how your data is used, or to file a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
